Joe digs deep for hometown win over Matahi Crevet

Joe Craven continued his climb back up the rankings with an important hometown points victory over Matahi Crevet at Hitman Fight League 9 - a result that lifted him to fifth in the WMO world rankings.

With a controlled, disciplined performance at TESTBED in Leeds, Joe took the decision and extended his winning run, with an eye firmly on reclaiming world title status.

A technical, high-level battle, and Joe made it clear post-bout that it was not a completely straightforward night physically.

Even so, the main thing was the result. Joe got the win, showed his quality in front of a home crowd, and kept the momentum moving in the right direction going into 2026.
